Accountabilities:
Assist Colgate rowing teams at practices and/or competitions. Job duties include but are not limited to skill instruction and/or driving a boat, van, truck or trailer.
Responsible for execution of specific strategic activities and outcomes within assigned sport or area. These will include sustained performance and execution in the following areas:
- adhere to Head Coach's philosophy
- athletic instruction/coaching
- program operations and administration as designated by head coach
Responsible for role modeling behaviors and leadership for student-athletes.
This type of appointment is not approved to work more than 500 hours from January-May.
Professional Experience/Qualifications
1-3 years experience coaching or participation in the sport of rowing
Preferred Qualifications
1-3 years experience coaching or participation in the sport of rowing
Education
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
Other Information
A current valid driver’s license, in accordance with the University’s Driver Safety and Motor Vehicle Use Policy is required.
Work Schedule:
This type of appointment is not approved to work more than 500 hours from January-May.
