Department Statement:
Accountabilities:
- Accountable for coordinating programming initiatives, assisting in the administration of its academic activities, and facilitating communications with program constituents.
- Effective management of day to day logistics of the Sophomore Residential Seminar program including supporting faculty on event planning, budget management, travel logistics and other class support for courses.
- Effective management of travel logistics for Lampert student scholars
- Coordinate logistics of exchange program to ensure all in-coming international exchange students are integrated into the Colgate community.
- Ensures effective execution of assigned programs.
Professional Experience/Qualifications
- Interest in Off-Campus Study or International education
- Ability to work cooperatively and formulate coalitions in an intercultural and interdisciplinary setting.
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent research, writing, and administrative capabilities.
- Proficiency or ability to be trained in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Workspace, creative software (Publisher, Adobe Photoshop or Canva) and Internet.
- Must be capable of working collegially with a diverse group of faculty, staff and students on a daily basis.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior Administrative experience is strongly preferred.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
