The purpose of this position is to assist in creating curriculum, training internal personnel and perform administrative duties to support the training programs and Organizational Development within the College and Human Resources initiatives.
Compensation within the posted range is determined by a candidate's education level and/or years of experience in the field. Generally, employees are hired in the lower third of the scale.
Bachelor's degree required, a degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field preferred. A PHR or SPHR certification is preferred. Three (3) years of related experience working in a Human Resources department required. Two (2) of those years working as a trainer and with proven Organizational Development initiatives required.

- Serve as point of contact for internal personnel related to training.
- Create training and staff development programs, training room facilitation, and instructional materials.
- Plan and assist in large training venues.
- Develop training schedules, associated expenditures, and facilities coordination.
- Prepare and analyze reports, as requested.
- Serve as liaison between College departments, faculty and/or staff, as required.
- Train faculty and staff on a continuous basis.
- Assist with scheduling of internal training courses. Direct collection and assembly of training materials.
- Develop and facilitate training and organizational development workshops for supervisors and other college staff, based upon the college's and Human Resources strategic priorities as well as employee needs.
- Provide administrators and staff with access to best practices, new research and resources with the goal of supporting the training program's success.
- Evaluate CCBC's' training and development needs and objectives.
- Develop the curriculum to assist with the training and staff development programs related to Human Resources.
- Conduct research on training trends in higher education.
- Serve as point of contact for developing training and organizational development initiatives.
- Meet with Organizational Development stakeholders to determine needs and outcomes so to design appropriate interventions.
- Participate and facilitate in Organization Development initiatives including change management, strategic planning, and assessments.
- Present and facilitate workshops on an ongoing basis to help faculty and staff maximize leadership qualities and cultivate new strengths.
- Notify employees of training opportunities.
- Set up facility for internal training, seminars, and workshops.
- Follow-up with participants to ensure attendance.
- Coordinate meetings, conferences, seminars, equipment and other training resources, as required.
- Maintain and update accurate databases to include attendance tracking.
- Develop curriculum and assist with scheduling of internal training courses.
- Coordinate New Hire Orientation to include: facility set up for internal training, seminars, and schedule speakers from Human Resources departments and union representatives and manage transition between speakers. Deliver introduction modules consisting of CCBC history, position explanation, and sexual harassment training workshops.
- Set up calendar, reserve rooms, and arrange lunch as appropriate.
- Modify arrangements as needed for special calendar and hiring events.
