- Develop and generate reports for internal and external use
- Complete regular audits to ensure data integrity
- Perform data analysis
- Troubleshoot, identify causes of, and respond to inquiries related to data or system issues
- Maintain system tables, including related to organizational changes
- Make recommendations for system enhancements
- Perform user and QA testing for system enhancements and upgrades
- Act as a liaison with Information Systems
- Participate as a member of HR system-related project teams
- Provide training to other HR users
- Bachelor's degree and/or coursework in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Resources or a related field
- 3+ years of experience with HRMS and relational databases
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Analytical thinking skills with an ability to solve problems
- Ability to prioritize ongoing and new projects, as well as conduct research and gather information
- Good oral/written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft HRMS. Workday experience is also a plus.
- Knowledge of university and department practices
- Use of Microsoft Office applications, with particular emphasis on Excel, to include functions and pivot tables
