This full-time faculty position will be responsible for CDL-A classroom and road instruction, monitoring and documenting student progress and attendance for Gateway Community & Technical College located in Northern Kentucky.

Job Duties:
- Provide instruction so CDL students are well-educated and able to pass their written CDL-A permit test, as well as their pre-trip, skills, and road tests.
- Continually evaluate student performance and document their progress through attendance forms and checklists.
While monitoring student progress, identify any gaps and provide additional help as needed. - Emphasize safety concepts, principles, and procedures.
- Ensure that the trucks are safe, clean, and well-maintained.
- Provide Gateway CDL students with quality training, while maintaining organized records and other various departmental responsibilities.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid Class A license
- 2+ years CDL-A driving experience
- In-depth knowledge of, and superb ability to teach, every aspect of truck driving.
- Experience in and understanding of the importance of working with students from diverse populations.
- Associate's degree or equivalent preferred.
- Teaching experience is a plus.
- Experience working at the community college level is preferred.
