Job Summary

We are currently accepting applications for a full-time Administrative Assistant in the Arts and Sciences Division.
Job Duties:
Primary Duties and Responsibilities include but aren’t limited to:
• General administrative duties including: creating forms, excel spreadsheets,
correspondence, evaluation materials, minutes of meetings, travel vouchers, etc.
• Organizes, copies, updates program information/materials as requested by
faculty.
• Performs data entry in system database (PeopleSoft)
• Compiles data to be used in charts or reports.
• Serves as receptionist for the department or program by greeting visitors,
answering phone, distributing mail, giving directions, answering questions, etc.
• Tracks departmental budgets and orders departmental supplies.
• Maintains departmental inventory on stock and equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:
Applicant must have excellence communication skills and the ability to deal with complex assignments. Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office products is required. An associate’s degree and a minimum of three year of experience working with higher level sensitive, confidential information is required. Preference given to candidates with experience in higher education.
