Hazard Community & Technical College invites applications for the position of Staff Tutor II - Allied Health. The Staff Tutor II will provide basic tutoring support for all allied health program areas (Radiography, Sonography, Sur Tech, PTA, and Nursing) at various HCTC locations, modes, days, and times utilizing best practices for tutoring support, test prep, research, writing tactics, and positive/constructive feedback.
NOTE: This position funded by CPE Healthcare Career grant dollars.
Job Duties:
Duties for position of Staff Tutor II- Allied Health include, but are not limited to:
Provide basic tutoring support for all allied health program areas (Radiography, Sonography, Sur Tech, PTA, and Nursing) at various HCTC locations, modes, days, and times utilizing best practices for tutoring support, test prep, research, writing tactics, and positive/constructive feedback.
Additionally, the Allied Health Tutor will provide skills-based tutoring for common skills across programs.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications for the Staff Tutor I are an Associate's Degree plus two years related experience.
Technology skills and use of a learning management system helpful.
