PROGRAM COORDINATOR, Center for International Studies (CIS)-MIT International Science and Technology Initiatives (MISTI), to perform complex and diverse administrative duties in support of the MISTI program, MIT’s flagship international education program. Will coordinate the Global Seed Funds program and provide support for data administration. Global Seed Funds responsibilities will include program management; facilitating the faculty review and oversight process; and coordinating the allocation of grant and post-award processes. Data management administration support responsibilities will include updates to online application forms; review and clean-up of datasets; creation and generation of reports for internal and external stakeholders; and providing technical support for staff.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED: B.A. or B.S. degree; at least two years’ experience in program administration and support; interest in the field of international education and cross-cultural communication; excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills; meticulous attention to detail; discretion and good judgment with confidential information; strong technical proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), database tools, and learning management systems; ability and willingness to quickly learn and adapt to using new software and systems as needed. Must be able to follow through on tasks with a moderate level of supervision; work both independently and as part of a team; and interact effectively with a diverse group of faculty, students, staff, and corporate sponsors. PREFERRED: familiarity with MIT financial procedures, FileMaker, SurveyMonkey Apply, and Terra Dotta. Job #22480-6
Pay grade 6 - starting salary commensurate with experience, between $53,225 and $69,200 annuallyU.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required.
