Job Summary/Basic Function
Middle Tennessee State University invites applicants for three full-time, Diversity Dissertation Fellows (#101120, #104280, #112160). Hosted by a department in their discipline, MTSU Diversity Dissertation Fellows teach one course each semester in a subject related to their research and devote significant time to completing their dissertation. The Diversity Dissertation Fellowship is a full-time position. Fellows may not hold another position simultaneously during their fellowship year. Successful candidates receive temporary full-time, non-tenure-track faculty appointments (August 1 - July 31) and are eligible for benefits, including health insurance. Positions are contingent upon funding.
In addition to salary, Fellows receive support for research, professional travel, and other related expenses. International applicants must be eligible for employment.
Required Education
Applicants must have passed all comprehensive examinations and be at the dissertation writing stage in a field taught at MTSU.
Other Desirables
Special consideration will be given to applicants from institutions other than MTSU.
