Job Description
- Synthesize and evaluate the behavior of high temperature ceramics including materials for hypersonic vehicles.
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of graduate and undergraduate researchers within the UHTC group.
- Report findings to funding agencies.
- Produce archival journal publications.
- Obtain external research funding from public and private sources.
- Grow independent research to eventually support own salary.
- Maintain laboratory equipment as needed.
- Assist the Materials Science and Engineering department through servies as requested.
