Job Description
Provide office management support for the EMSE department and Chair. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Manage the Chair's calendar/appointments and perform other Chair assigned duties as needed.
- Organize/oversee departmental events, including Academy of Engineering Management activities.
- Respond to inquiries from faculty, staff, other units, and the public regarding EMSE policies, facilities, & activities.
- Assist the Chair with scheduling department course offerings and preparing course and degree change forms.
- Assist the Chair with the department phonathon and newsletter; take minutes at faculty meetings.
- Maintain department calendars, bulletin boards, and conference room access.
- Assist with processing student forms and funding requests and with department scholarships.
- Generate Non-PO Vouchers to pay bills/expenses and process payments upon receipt of invoices.
- Help with Purchasing Requisitions and Travel & Expense reports/reimbursements; reconcile OneCard transactions.
- Maintain and create electronic Personnel Action Forms (ePAFs) for faculty, staff, and students.
- Other duties as assigned.
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least two years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
