Department: Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving

Position Summary:
Monmouth University is seeking applications for a Digital Giving Officer in the Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving department.

Reporting to the Senior Director for Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving, the Digital Giving Officer assists in all digital marketing efforts to help meet the office's fundraising goals, as well as engagement objectives. Responsibilities include content strategy and production for social media platforms, and implementing online annual giving programs such as crowdfunding and giving days. This role requires a combination of critical thinking and execution. We are looking for an early-career digital marketer with an inquisitive nature and a creative approach to driving results.

Required Degree, License or Certifications:
Bachelor's degree

Required Skills or Software:
Basic Knowledge of MS Word 2016, Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel 2016, Must be able to utilize a variety of computer software programs in order to successfully complete assigned tasks, Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, Must be able to treat confidential and sensitive information appropriately, Must be able to operate a variety of office equipment

Required Years of Experience: 2

Other Requirements:
Experience creating and executing content for digital platforms, such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Tik-Tok, email, web, and other relevant platforms. Proficiency with Canva, Photoshop, or other similar graphic design tools. Experience analyzing and working with large data sets.

A team player who can work both strategically as well as execute projects. A highly-organized problem solver who can take initiative and set priorities while being flexible.

Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively in person, in writing, and by phone.

Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency with WordPress or other similar content management systems. Basic understanding of videography and photography. Familiarity with MailChimp or similar email marketing platform. Digital fundraising experience. Experience working with non-profits.
