Position Summary
The HCOM HR Specialist supports the Heritage College's human resources and operations functions across its three campuses. Under the Director, HCOM HR & Operations and in collaboration with UHR and other campus partners, the HCOM HR Specialist acts in accordance with all university policies and applicable laws while exercising significant independence and autonomy to lead recruiting activities, manage employee onboarding and exits, manage data integrity, and supports HCOM operations by completing special projects.

Primary Accountabilities:
Interprets university policy and all applicable laws to remain compliant while leading all recruiting activities for HCOM, including but not limited to:
  • Leading HCOM internal hiring processes
  • Performing direct recruiting efforts to identify and source qualified candidates proactively to share HCOM openings, requiring strong recruiting knowledge
  • Providing guidance to search committees regarding matters such as offer amounts, requiring high level judgment and communications skills.
  • Managing internal employee onboarding and exit processes
  • Manages data integrity for HCOM HR recruiting, requiring a great attention to detail and an ability to manage sensitive and confidential information. Ensures compliance with various HCOM processes through analyzing data
  • Completes special projects that support the operations of HCOM and the administrative services department, requiring strong analytical and project management skills
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years relevant work experience can be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree
1+ years relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with a customer relationship management (CRM) software, such as SalesForce preferred

Pay Rate

The approved hiring range for this position is $44,592 to $59,085. Offers outside of this range of subject to additional approvals. The final offer will be commensurate with the candidate's education and experience in relation to the minimum qualifications for the position.
