Job Description

Leads and provides direct supervision to students developing, writing, and producing original short form and series' including award winning local sports content as part of the WOUB newsroom.
  • Oversees production services leading students through the technical experiential process of studio operations and roles by providing video production training sessions. This includes use of studio cameras, floor direction, teleprompter, audio, lighting, and Automation Production Control.
  • Deliverables include television news packages, full season sports productions for radio and tv, podcasts, and content for digital and social media.
  • Assists with new student recruitment and maintaining networks for graduating student employment and internship opportunities.
  • Acts as editorial instructor of record for Scripp's College ESPN3 course sequence.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in journalism, media arts, or related field.
  • Valid Driver License required.
  • At least three (3) years of related work experience.

Pay Rate

The target salary for this position is $51,281 to $59,614 and is commensurate with the selected candidate's education and experience while considering internal equity.
