The Dean of Institutional Effectiveness directs collegewide processes related to the effective and efficient operation of the college in support of its mission. This includes the coordination of the strategic planning process, oversight of institutional research, service as the college liaison for regional accreditation, and academic program review as well as support for program accreditation when applicable. The Dean works in partnership with the college president, OCTC & KCTCS leadership, and the KCTCS Office of Research, Planning, and Analysis in determining primary performance measures for the college, including, but not limited to, student achievement measures.
Job Duties:
The duties/responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
• Oversight, supervision, and coordination of the college's institutional effectiveness process, including the collection of data in regard to student enrollment, student success, student satisfaction, student expectations, student performance on certifying assessments, student performance in further education, and student job placement
• Coordination of the College planning process and creation of the Strategic Plan, including annual updates to college objectives as well as regular reports and reviews
• Assist with the planning and evaluation of academic program improvements, including academic program review
• Serve as SACSCOC liaison
• Coordinate the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP) accreditation process
• Assist with programmatic accreditation efforts
• Supervise and develop the Institutional Effectiveness team and department
• All other duties as assigned by the President
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree (related field) and three (3) years related experience, or equivalent
