Provides leadership for the technology area project portfolio and governance process, overall department change management, area communication, and technology planning. Collaborates with employees throughout the College on cross-team initiatives. Serves on various college committees, and serves as a non-voting member of the Information Resource Management Committee.

Physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office related equipment, such as, but not limited to a, personal computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine. No significant climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, and repetitive motions.

Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree with two years' experience in related field. Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of two years prior experience in a technology department
- Minimum of two years supervisor experience
- One-year Project Management experience, PMP preferred
- ITIL certification preferred
- Administrative experience, including organizational and planning abilities, facilitation of communications within a unit, project management, attention to details, and initiative
- Highly developed oral and written communications skills and interpersonal savvy
- Results/action-orientation; project management skills
- Organizational and political agility; developed negotiation skills
- Adheres to personal code of ethics, integrity, diversity and trust
- Able to successfully navigate within varying degrees of ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
- Strong strategic/financial analysis skills
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including public speaking and writing for technical and non-technical audiences

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Manages and orchestrates projects or commitments directly involving the vice president for enterprise technology.
- Supervise and evaluates project teams and assigned staff.
- Proactively identify issues that could impact the successful execution of enterprise technology commitments.
- Lead major intra-departmental cross-team initiatives on behalf of the vice president, enterprise technology.
- Develop written communication on behalf of the vice president of enterprise technology. serves as liaison to human resources on sensitive technology-related matters.
- Coordinate, create and distribute campus-wide communication of technology
- Initiatives via various communication channels, including newsletter, portal, email, social media, etc.
- Aligns the technology governance framework, in collaboration with the vice president, in order to ensure that enterprise technology investments are delivered in accordance with institutional goals and objectives.
- Create, maintain, and administer the business continuity plans for enterprise technology.
- Collaborate with other enterprise technology department leaders to establish and administer technology communications.
- Scope, plan and execute multiple, often quick turnaround projects with minimal supervision.
- Receive, record, distribute, and manage the portfolio of enterprise technology projects, using a project portfolio management system.
- Coordinates enterprise technology audit responses.
- Provide reporting on technology projects to the information resource management council, other committees of the college, and enterprise technology leadership.
- Lead, in collaboration with other enterprise technology department leaders, area change management efforts.
- Succinctly updates the vice president for enterprise technology on the issues, supported with facts and recommendations.
- Provides independent leadership for special projects.
- Monitors area-wide initiatives on behalf of the vice president.
- Represent the vice president of enterprise technology at college events that the vice president cannot attend.
- Responsible for complying with all required college mandated training within the prescribed timelines.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
