Salisbury University (SU) is pleased to accept applications for the Director of Athletics and Campus Recreation.

Offering 47 undergraduate and 17 graduate programs, SU is extraordinarily well served by highly effective administrators, and dedicated faculty and staff, who foster rich opportunities for more than 7,100 students and celebrate the successes of 60,000+ alumni.
The successful candidate also will oversee SU’s exciting Campus Recreation Program, with facilities including two physical activities and fitness centers. Also part of Campus Recreation are the intramurals program and club sports including cheerleading, equestrian, gymnastics, field hockey, ice hockey, lacrosse, rugby, soccer, Ultimate, and weightlifting. This year, the cheerleading program won a NCA National Championship while ice hockey recently made an appearance in their championship tournament.
The ideal candidate will be a passionate, accomplished, and committed director who can provide direction and leadership for a comprehensive NCAA Division III athletics program according to NCAA bylaws and in keeping with the SU Mission.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- 7-10 years of work experience within an intercollegiate athletic department or other relevant work experience
- Demonstrated record of accomplishment in athletic administration, coaching (college level preferred), and/or teaching
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Knowledge of:
