Salisbury University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of IT Systems Developer/Analyst.
Primary Job Duties: Write and maintain enterprise software solutions that support the administrative functions of the University. Provide systems support for the administrative software systems of the university, assisting with development, configuration, administration, upgrade, integration and documentation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system applications. This position will ensure compliance with USM and SU policy and procedure as well as any audit requirements. Other work-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or related field. Three to five (3-5) years’ experience supporting and developing enterprise software applications, data integration interfaces, and/or reports utilizing industry best practices. Experience with one or more programming/scripting languages.
Must be detail oriented and have excellent interpersonal, customer service, organization and planning, prioritization, problem solving, follow through, time management, and oral and written communication skills. Also, must be flexible and possess the ability to successfully handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and work well under pressure, work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience serving in a developer or analyst role in Workday ERP and/or PeopleSoft ERP environments in a campus setting. Experience developing solutions using PeopleSoft PeopleCode, SQR, MS SQL, Powershell, XML/XSLT, and/or leveraging web services and 3rd party API's is desired.
This is a full-time exempt State position with a full benefits package. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Telework opportunities may be available for this position.
