Job Overview

The Department of Psychology at the University of Cincinnati is seeking an Assistant Professor - Educator starting in August, 2023.The desired candidate should possess strong organizational, communication and analytic skills, and demonstrate a history of effective departmental, community, and professional service. This is a three-year, non-tenure eligible Assistant Professor - Educator position with a start date of August 2023. The term is renewable upon satisfactory performance. The expected teaching load for this position is seven courses per academic year.

Essential Functions
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven record of teaching excellence and could teach courses such as Introduction to Psychology, Psychobiology, Cognitive Neuropsychology and Functional Neuroanatomy.
  • We seek applicants with experience using research-based, active-learning approaches and those willing to evaluate new models of instruction and embrace online learning.
Minimum Requirements

Ph.D. in Psychology or a closely related field is required.
