The University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business is seeking a well-qualified Program Manager for the Office of Development and Alumni Relations. One of 13 schools and colleges located on the University of Maryland, College Park campus, the Smith School is a recognized leader in management research and education for the global economy. The school is consistently ranked among the world’s top business schools by leading business publications such as Business Week, Financial Times, Economist and the Wall Street Journal.
Reporting directly to the Director of Donor Relations the Program Manager, Donor Relations is a newly created position to assist in the implementation of a comprehensive donor relations and stewardship program that strategically engages prospects, donors and key stakeholders for continued pipeline development and recognition. This position will provide high quality and timely oversight of all logistics related to donor cultivation and recognition. The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, written and verbal communication management to key constituents by way of acknowledgements, impact reports and other forms of written or produced stewardship tools. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. 3-5 years of relevant experience in non-profit, higher education or related fields, including fundraising, alumni affairs, communications, event planning and/or public relations.
