Job Description
The University of Missouri, Department of Psychiatry invites applications for an assistant, associate, or full professor position to support an ongoing program of translational research on addiction, behavioral, and cognitive neuroscience.
The successful candidate will have opportunities to work in the Health Neuroscience Center (HNC). Research studies in the HNC are organized around interweaving cognitive neuroscience techniques, mobile technologies and clinical trial methodology to investigate novel treatments for substance use disorders—including nicotine, cocaine and opioid use disorders. Ongoing projects include examining the effects of neurostimulation, pharmacotherapies and mindfulness-based interventions for treating addiction pathophysiology.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: PhD in Psychology with a focus in Brain, Behavioral & Cognitive Science, or Equivalent.
Candidates will be evaluated on: clinical experience with associated patient populations.
