Job Description
The UM System Office of Missouri Online serves as a strategic and trusted advisor to enhance educational experiences, advance technological services, and increase efficiencies while pursuing continuous collaboration among the four Universities. The position is eligible to be remote and will report to the Finance Director with a dotted line to UM System HR. This position provides HR and Recruiting operational support within Missouri Online. Duties for this position include:
- Work with directors and managers to support the recruiting process. Create job requisitions requests, schedule and gather materials for search committees, schedule interviews, and other duties to help ensure a smooth recruiting process.
- Work with directors and managers to create and submit the proper documents for funding changes, reclass requests, new positions requests, temporary pay increases and other employee change forms.
- Stay up-to-date with new guidelines, practice and procedures in order to create appropriate systems with respect to HR processes ensuring that all appropriate personnel are aware of new practices, etc. Ensure staff are hired by appropriate guidelines, help ensure annual reviews are completed.
- Reconcile payroll monthly. Research and resolve employee issues regarding missed time and pay errors. Maintain payroll budget.
- Maintain organizational chart, job postings library, job descriptions and other specific HR resources for all of Missouri Online
- Work with managers and directors to plan effective and robust all staff meetings and retreats.
The University of Missouri System consists of system administration and four universities: The University of Missouri-Columbia, the University of Missouri-Kansas City, the Missouri University of Science and Technology, the University of Missouri-St. Louis, and all of their component parts, including MU Health, MU Extension and UM Engagement.
Salary
$21.63 - $25/hour
Grade: GGS 8

Minimum Qualifications
An associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of recruiting or related experience
- Degree in HR or related field
- HR experience in a large company
- MS Excel and enterprise wide systems experience
- Demonstrated ability to be resourceful, self-motivated, problem solver, and effective communicator
