As part of the Department of Psychiatry, the Brain Behavior Lab (BBL) and the Lifespan Brain Institute (LiBI) are devoted to the study of brain and behavior using innovative neuroimaging research techniques and the application of bioinformatics resources. LiBI brings together researchers in medicine, psychiatry, engineering, computer science, physics and biostatistics to understand brain structure and function, based on functional and structural neuroimaging data. The PennCNB Project Manager is directly responsible for the implementation, launch and management of all Penn's computerized neurocognitive battery (PennCNB) projects in the Neurodevelopment and Psychosis Section and the Neuroimaging and Cognitive Core (NICC) Service Center.

PennCNB Project Manager
The PennCNB Project Manager is directly responsible for the implementation, launch and management of all Penn's Computerized Neurocognitive Battery (PennCNB) projects in the Neurodevelopment and Psychosis Section and the Neuroimaging and Cognitive Core (NICC) Service Center. This responsibility currently includes managing projects for investigators in the section, as well as over 50 projects that are external to Penn as part of the NICC. Many of the internal and NICC projects are multisite and international. Duties include implementation of each project, documentation, data management, training, and client support. For some projects, this effort requires working closely with the CNB team, leading the testing of new platforms, and contributing to the software launch. There are on average 50 trainees annually that require training for the PennCNB, each of which requires personalized review and feedback. The position also provides significant project management support to clients and the PennCNB team including:
- Client liaison and negotiation of project scope as well as resources and timelines.
- Client based custom project management including building reports and training, accommodating new trainees in the course of the project, assisting with data management and requests.
- Testing new task developments before they are moved to production. This testing includes rigorous assessment regimen of 7-30 test cases to assess correct stimuli mapping, button mapping, scoring code and data export procedures.
- Preparation and oversight of translations and testing before deployment. PennCNB has been translated into 23 different languages and continues to annually require 3-5 new language translations.
- Maintain the PennCNB team clubhouse board for efficient project management and development responsibilities. This includes scheduling and leading weekly PennCNB team meetings.
- Data interpretation.
- Documentation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required with 3-5 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience; previous experience with product management and client interaction required, experience running multiple projects simultaneously. Master's degree with 5+ years related experience preferred. Must have ability to communicate with both clients and development team. Position requires initiative, strong communication, and exceptional interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to organize multiple projects, exercise good judgment, handle sensitive, confidential, and difficult situations professionally, and track multiple tasks. Ability to work cooperatively with diverse set of constituencies is essential. Must have exceptional attention to detail. Advanced computer skills are essential including experience with software for data entry and tracking, with experience in data analysis preferred.
This position is contingent upon grant funding.

Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.
