The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a qualified Utility Analyst for the Facilities Management Department. The incumbent will be responsible for recording, analyzing and allocating University's utility usages and costs to allow for internal distribution of costs. The incumbent will maintain all utility documentation and prepare reports to management analyzing status of utility usage and cost. As well as, identify concerns with utility meter data and billing inconsistencies and work with FM Energy Center, Administration, and utility company representatives to resolve issues.
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Engineering or other pertinent major. Experience with energy management software is preferred. Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel required, including experience with charts and graphs. Experience with pivot tables and regression analysis preferred. Experience with other statistical applications is a plus. The individual should also have knowledge of utility industry concepts such as how utilities are measured and billed, rate structures etc. Experience maybe substituted for education per the University guideline. Certified Energy Manager or similar certification is a plus.
