Position Overview:
We seek a visionary and experienced leader for a tenured, 11-month, renewable appointment as Chair of the Department of Education. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and foster an environment of academic excellence and innovation. This role includes overseeing accreditation and program reports, managing administrative functions such as budgeting and course scheduling, mentoring junior faculty, hiring adjunct and program faculty, teaching courses, and representing the department both on and off-campus.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the department with a forward-thinking vision and strategy.
- Oversee preparation and submission of accreditation and program reports.
- Manage administrative tasks including budgeting, course scheduling, and program development.
- Mentor junior faculty and support their professional growth.
- Recruit and hire adjunct and program faculty.
- Teach courses in the department.
- Represent the department to campus and community stakeholders.
