We have an exciting opportunity for Lab and Research Technicians.

In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day activities required to support the research goals of a large research lab. Specifically, duties will include:
- Facilitate research in the laboratory by ensuring the supply of needed materials for all projects
- Execute prescribed protocols as outlined by supervisor in a timely and organized manner
- Consistently record experimental results in comprehensive laboratory notebook
- Assist in the completion of lab functions essential to maintaining overall laboratory efficiency
- Perform monitoring and preventative maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Clean, set up, and store equipment
- Stock laboratory solutions and compounds
- Perform general clerical tasks necessary for daily operation of laboratory
- Perform routine laboratory tests and experimental procedures
- Assist research personnel with experiments and procedures
- Compile results of experiments and regularly report to supervisor
- Carry out other research-related duties as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a laboratory is required
- Must be detail-oriented and have good observation skills
- Should have a willingness to learn and use specialized techniques
- Must communicate effectively (written and oral)
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively
- Familiarity with the research process and principles of research design required
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, time management and communication skills
- Ability to establish priorities and to handle multiple tasks

- Excellent proficiency in written English and the ability to present and articulate complex
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Life Science Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field
- Experience with ChemDraw software
- Familiar with general lab procedures (use of pipettes, balances, rotary evaporators, thin layer chromatography, pH probes)
- Previous college coursework, particularly Organic Chemistry 1 and 2
