Job Description:
The Assistant Director of Admissions and Student Affairs, Diversity Recruitment and Engagement supports both the law student affairs and law admissions offices to promote, support and engage with applicants and law students from historically underrepresented populations.

Essential Functions:
- Assists with coordinating diverse prospective student and applicant recruitment efforts, including relationship development with target and regional schools and individual student outreach. Modest regional travel is anticipated.
- Works with the Law Ambassador student volunteer program to facilitate current student engagement with prospective applicants.
- Collaborates with Law Communications to feature stories of diverse students, alumni, faculty, and staff; to create a pre-law advisor newsletter three (3) times each year; and to assist in updating content for social media platforms and the law school website.
- Coordinates student and alumni outreach and matching for admitted students. Facilitates alumni engagement with current students.
- Provides support for and counsel to students from underrepresented communities/marginalized backgrounds, as well as to identity-based affinity groups, to promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment within the law school.
- Assists law student affairs in the planning, design, marketing, execution and assessment of programs, events, and cultural celebrations.
- Collaborates and partners with University-wide offices/committees (UCICC, OIE, etc.) as well as with the law school DEI committee, to enhance support of law students and bring awareness to available resources.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Work Schedule: M-F, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm with occasional night and weekend hours required.
Minimum Pay: $52,000 Pay Commensurate with Experience

Physical Requirements:
- Fingering: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with whole hand or arm as in handling.
