A.T. Still University's College of Graduate Health Studies is searching for adjunct faculty members to teach doctoral research project (DRP) courses in the Doctor of Education (EdD) in Health Professions Education online program. Applicants must have a doctorate degree, a health professions related background, and at least two years online teaching experience in higher education.
Courses for which applicants are being sought to teach in the EdD in Health Professions Education program include the following 10-week online courses taught in Canvas: Proposal for the Doctoral Research Project, Literature Review for the Doctoral Research Project, Research Design for the Doctoral Research Project, Data Analysis for the Doctoral Research Project, and Publication of the Doctoral Research Project. This is a series of five 5-credit-hour courses taken sequentially and you must be able to commit to teaching all five courses for a cohort of students.
Applicants should have the ability to (1) positively interact with students at a graduate and post-graduate level in an online learning setting; (2) prioritize and work independently with excellent written and verbal communication skills; (3) engage in instruction that is collaborative and aligns with the mission of the College of Graduate Health Studies; (4) provide a learning environment that encourages and supports student success; (5) initiate and maintain frequent communication and interaction among students; (6) provide timely and meaningful formative and summative feedback to students; (7) respond to students’ inquiries within 24 hours; (8) maintain high speed internet connectivity at all times.
