Academic Advisor and Mental Health Liaison We are seeking outstanding applicants with experience and passion in student development who have practical knowledge of specialized needs in education and the ability to provide comprehensive ongoing coordination of assessment, support and clinical services. The Academic Advisor and Mental Health Liaison works with students in two primary ways. As an Academic Advisor, the incumbent will be responsible for academic advising of approximately 160 students each semester, which involves assessing students’ curricular needs and opportunities and placing them in appropriate honors classes. As Mental Health Liaison, the incumbent will serve as the main point of contact in the College for referring students, parents and staff to mental health resources. This position represents the College in working with campus mental health services and units, providing crisis interventions, response and management to create a culture of wellness in SCHC.
USC Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in a related field and 2 years related experience, or bachelor's degree and 4 years related experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in counseling or counseling experience, as well as experience working with college students and/or managing a program. Prefer academic advising experience and some knowledge of USC policies, procedures, and programs.

Academic Advisor and Senior Thesis Coordinator The Academic Advisor and Senior Thesis Coordinator works with students in two primary ways. The incumbent will be responsible for academic advising of approximately 160 students each semester, which involves assessing students’ curricular needs and opportunities and placing them in appropriate honors classes. Honors College. As Senior Thesis Coordinator, the incumbent will support and assist students in preparing for their senior theses through an online course, individual meetings and workshops.
USC Minimum Qualifications: Masters degree and 1 year related experience, or bachelor’s degree and 3 years related experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Some knowledge of USC policies, procedures, and programs is preferred.
