Position Summary
Slippery Rock University, located in Slippery Rock, PA, invites applications for a full-time, 12-month Assistant Professor to serve as the Academic Fieldwork Coordinator in our fully accredited entry-level Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program. Responsibilities include management of the academic fieldwork program, effective communication with students, faculty and fieldwork educators at established and developing sites, and instruction in the Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program. This position reports to the OTD Program Director.

Minimum Qualifications
Doctoral degree from an institution that is accredited by a USDE -recognized regional accrediting body required along with initial certification by NBCOT and eligibility for licensure as an occupational therapist in the state of Pennsylvania. Minimum of three years of clinical experience as an occupational therapist.
Successful performance in an interview, including a teaching demonstration. Commitment to the education of diverse populations.

Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience supervising students in a clinical setting preferred along with knowledge and understanding of ACOTE standards pertaining to fieldwork education. An ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills, as well as experience working with diverse populations.
