Pay Grade:
Adjunct instructor for Medical Coding and Billing courses

Job Responsibilities:

60%- Instruction of college level medical coding and billing
30%- Office hours
5%- Submit all necessary paperwork promptly, including but not limited to, submitting the course syllabus to the division, posting midterm and final grade(s), and submitting final student learning outcomes.
5%- All other duties as assigned by Dean

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of an Associate Degree with a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credential from the Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) from AHIMA
Teaching experience at a community college or university in the area of Medical Billing and Coding face to face and on-line

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate Degree with a Certified Professional Coder or Certified Coding Specialist credential
Experience teaching face to face and on-line
