The University Counseling Center at the University of Mississippi is pleased to announce an opening for an Assistant Director of Telemental Health.
The Assistant Director is a supervisory position in which the incumbent provides diagnosis or evaluates mental and emotional disorders of individuals and administers programs of treatment through the University Counseling Center. The incumbent supervises professional staff and trainees in clinical and administrative matters. The incumbent will manage and oversee the Telemental Health counseling services for students and members of the University located at the regional campuses. Minimum qualifications and additional information can be found on the University’s Human Resources website.
The preferred candidate will have experience with Titanium or some other electronic records system and be comfortable providing therapeutic services to a wide variety of undergraduate and graduate students within a time effective treatment model. Unique skills and experience in addressing the needs of a traditionally underserved population are a plus, as is a demonstrated commitment to diversity and multiculturalism.
