Widener University is currently seeking an Assistant or Associate Professor in Human Sexuality Studies , reporting to the Director of the Center for Human Sexuality Studies and the Dean of the College of Health and Human Services.
Center for Human Sexuality Studies (CHSS): CHSS is housed within the College of Health and Human Services, which also includes programs in Clinical Psychology, Physical Therapy, Social Work, Education, Occupational Therapy, Physician Assistant Education and Speech and Language Pathology. Offering Masters and Doctoral degrees, and a variety of professional development and continuing education programs, CHSS is a unique program nationally, providing professional and scholarly education in human sexuality with concentrations in sexuality education, sex therapy, public policy, and non-profit management. The program draws students from across the country and internationally. To make our programs available for working adults, we offer courses that meet on weekends, weeknights, and in hybrid, online and in-person formats. CHSS has a strong commitment to social justice and the intersections of multiple identities and perspectives. We are seeking a candidate who reflects these core values in their work.
