Currently, Franklin & Marshall College is recruiting for an Associate Director of Operations.  

The Associate Director of Operations is responsible for the management of Enrollment Information systems and the coordination of all information systems to Admission and Financial Aid. The Associate Director provides general, technical, support to all areas of the Admission and Financial Aid Offices.

Essential functions

  • Support Admission and Financial Aid website functionality, manage interface between web forms and Slate, execute new Slate functions, troubleshoot system issues, provide technical support as requested by staff, and consult with and train end-users.
  • Manage enrollment information systems to execute such tasks as: transferring data to and from internal and external constituents; working with admission staff to build recruitment tools, program and update reports; and executing the communication flow as outlined by the Comm Flow Team.
  • Oversee the execution of application review, including but not limited to; managing application flow, updating application review forms, troubleshooting technical issues related to these processes, and executing the release of all admission decisions.
  • Supervise and mentor the Assistant Coordinator of Operations. This includes developing new skills, overseeing projects, and any personnel issues related to the Assistant Coordinator.  
  • Attend annual conferences and sessions for the Admission CRM, and other systems, to maintain expertise in these areas for the Enrollment Management division. Additionally, allowing the Associate Director to continue optimizing the systems within the division.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • One to three years experience in CRM required, preferably more years.
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Suite, databases, and web development required.
  • Intermediate proficiency in statistical software required.
  • Expert ability to think critically and analytically and to manage projects.
  • The ability and willingness to provide excellent service and to work in a collegial manner with students, faculty and staff, and other constituencies is essential.

Because this position requires driving for College business, the successful candidate must possess a U.S. or Canadian driver's license which has been valid for at least two years, have a driving record that is free from excessive motor vehicle violations within the last three years, and have had no convictions in the last 24 months for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
