Job Summary

Performs functions in support of cold food preparation, servery set up and replenishment, and customer food service. Performs general sanitation duties mainly in the dish room and pot & pan cleaning area. May be assigned sanitation procedures in related areas of dining hall including kitchen, servery, dining rooms, rest rooms and exteriors.

Education/Skills Requirements

A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred. Applicants must be responsible and professional with good communication skills, able to function effectively during late-night hours, and enjoy interacting with college students and working in a fast-paced, fluid environment.

Experience Requirements and/or Equivalents

Some experience preferred, but will train the right candidate.

Standard Work Days and Hours

Varying shifts including weekends, holidays and during weather emergencies. Required to work for major college events and weekends such as Parents Weekend, Commencement and Reunions. Added hourly pay differentials for second shift (10%) and third shift (15%) apply.
