Investments Job Summary
The Bowdoin College investments office is currently recruiting for a full time Portfolio Analytics Associate. The investment office is managed by a team of six, including investment specialists, generalists and operations staff. The Portfolio Analytics Associate will report to the Endowment Chief Operating Officer and play an integral role in all areas of back office operations and reporting as well as collaboration in the oversight of the College's endowment.Education/Skills Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in math/economics/finance/accounting or a related field is required. Interest in endowment investing, financial markets, investment analysis and ongoing education. Progress towards CFA charter is a plus. Applicants must possess: excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team, take initiative, understand priorities and deliver quality work; strong organizational skills; high accuracy with data entry and record keeping to maintain the integrity of historical files; the ability to handle high volume of detailed work in a fast-paced office; and sensitivity to strict confidentiality of data.Experience Requirements and/or Equivalents
1 or more years of prior experience in an investment, financial or analytical role. Passion for investing and interest in not-for-profit endowment management.Standard Work Days and Hours
This is an exempt position and requires the the commitment necessary to fulfill all of the job requirements. Typical hours are M-F from 8:00am to 5:00pm.About Bowdoin
