Job Summary

Reporting to the Director of Private Equity, the Investment Analyst is responsible for supporting the Investments team in a broad range of activities including:

• Supporting the Investments team in due diligence and screening for potential investments including quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Monitoring of existing investments across the Endowment portfolio, with a focus on private investments, through review of quarterly performance and attribution as well as attendance at manager meetings.
• Assistance in the preparation of investment recommendation memos and other materials for distribution to the Investment Committee.
• Contribute to Investments team's ongoing refinement of asset allocation framework and portfolio positioning; assess relative attractiveness of various asset classes, strategies and markets.
• Supervise and Mentor Interns

Education/Skills Requirements

Strong academic credentials including a Bachelor's degree and MBA , with a CFA designation preferred. Superior written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to multi-task, work independently and function as part of a small team. Strong organizational skills and self-motivation. Excellent analytical abilities including financial modeling; ability to synthesize large amounts of data in a clear and concise manner. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and database software. High level of integrity, intellectual curiosity, professionalism and loyalty.

Experience Requirements and/or Equivalents

4+ years of prior experience in an investment, financial or consulting role. Passion for investing and interest in not-for-profit endowment management.

Standard Work Days and Hours

This is a salaried position requiring time commitment necessary to satisfactorily complete job requirements. Typical hours are M-F 8:00am to 5:00pm.
