The UAB Department of Psychiatry invites applications for a full-time faculty position for a doctoral level clinical psychologist in the Division of Adult Psychiatry. The position is classified as a Clinician-Educator, non-tenure earning faculty appointment within the School of Medicine. Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications. The ideal candidate will have experience providing evidence-based interventions with a broad range of behavioral disorders in adults 19 and older. Clinical work will include both assessments and intervention. Training as a neuropsychologist is desirable. Psychologists in the Department of Psychiatry are expected to provide supervision of graduate students, psychology interns, and psychiatry residents and fellows as part of their educational role.
