The Director of the Center for Inclusive Teaching and Learning (CITL) manages teaching center personnel, budgets, programs, resources, and assessment. The director is responsible for providing leadership in academic affairs related to faculty and staff professional development and inclusivity in instructional settings. The director reports to the Dean of the University College.
This position will work to further diversity and inclusivity in teaching and learning across campus which will directly impact students.

  • Ph.D. /Ed.D. or discipline-specific terminal degree and at least five years teaching experience at the collegiate level
  • Demonstrated expertise in inclusive pedagogies and implementing the principles of inclusive excellence
  • Experience planning and leading faculty and staff professional development programming (workshops, conferences, etc.)
  • Broad knowledge of teaching and learning strategies in both online and face-to-face contexts
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to engage a diverse group of faculty and staff
  • Proven ability to collaborate with others and to manage, coordinate, and complete complex projects
