The Associate Director for Housing Operations leads the Housing Operations team in developing new or updated business processes, overseeing deployment and use of technology, overseeing summer conference and guest housing programs, ensuring effective protocols for access control, maintaining afterhours on-call protocols, contributing to marketing initiatives, and helping shape the strategic direction of our housing program. Additionally, this position is responsible for ensuring all staff members working in Housing Operations value diversity, equity, and inclusion, and will ensure opportunities for cultural competence skill building occur regularly.
This role serves on the department leadership team, leads a team of professional and student staff, and ensures equitable access and inclusion throughout your work. Each day will vary however the work often follows a predictable annual cycle with changing complex business problems to keep you and your team engaged in the pursuit of excellent customer service. The work of the Housing Operations team serves hundreds of colleagues and thousands of students, guests, and families every year.

Bachelor's degree in higher education student affairs or a related field and four years of experience in residence life, higher education student affairs, or a related field and one year of management experience in a relevant field.
