Salisbury University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Storekeeper I (Part-time Contingent I). There are two part-time positions available. Primary Job Duties:
Under direct supervision, routinely receives, stores, and distributes supplies, materials, and equipment; responsible for manual labor duties associated with filling requisitions for issuing supplies, materials, and equipment; receive and inspect shipments for compliance with delivery documents and purchase order specifications; process receiving documents; and other duties as assigned. Operation of warehouse material handling equipment is required. Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED and one year shipping & receiving or related experience. Valid Noncommercial Class C or equivalent driver's license required, with 5 points or less. Working knowledge of the procedures and practices of issuing and storing supplies, materials, and equipment. Ability to perform basic mathematics; to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; to follow directions; to operate warehouse material handling equipment; to operate computers and other standard office equipment; to perform extensive standing, walking, and climbing; to lift, transport and stock assigned supplies and materials; to wear and work in personal protective equipment. Preferred Qualifications:
Fork Lift Operator Certification preferred.
This is a part-time, non-exempt, contractual position. Salary is $13.72 per hour.
