Salisbury University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Cashier’s Office and Parking Services Supervisor.

Primary Job Duties:  Oversee the operations of the University’s Cashier’s Office, including the review and reconciliation of daily cashier closings and the preparation of daily deposit slips and daily cash reports.  Oversee the operations of the University’s Parking Services Office, including the review and reconciliation of parking tickets and permits.  Addresses and resolves customer issues and concerns for both departments.  Develops internal controls and writes procedures for each of the offices and any University departments that collect cash receipts.  Supervises office staff.  Works with Accounts Receivable and Accounting staff to ensure that cash receipts are recorded accurately and timely. 

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field, and 5-7 years of related experience.  Supervisory experience. 

Must be detail oriented and have excellent customer service, organization and planning, prioritization, problem solving, follow through, time management, and oral and written communication skills. Also, must be flexible and possess the ability to successfully handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and work well under pressure, work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required. 

Preferred Qualifications: Experience processing monetary transactions and reconciliation in a bank environment; PeopleSoft experience.

This is a full-time, exempt, State position with a full benefits package. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
