The Department of Biological Sciences seeks a Tenure-Track (10-Month) Assistant Professor in Physiology.Area of Specialization includes but is not limited to:
Comparative or vertebrate physiology.Primary Job Duties:
Teach up to 24 credit hours (or equivalent, generally six courses and several labs) per year in support of the Anatomy & Physiology I & II sequence for undergraduates; develop upper-level undergraduate and/or graduate courses in physiology, maintain an active research agenda in an area of specialization, engage undergraduate & graduate students in research, and utilize an effective teaching style that supports a diverse student body.Minimum Qualifications:
A Ph.D. in Physiology or related discipline. If Ph.D. completed by August 15, 2021, would be hired as Assistant Professor. Preferred Qualifications:
Applicants with a strong interest in comparative or vertebrate physiology.
