in the Center for Health Communities of the College of Health and Human Services.Primary Job Duties:
The Early Childhood MSW Intern Supervisor for the Lower Shore Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation Program is responsible for providing field supervision for the LSECSP interns. Varied forms of intern supervision and support are provided weekly including individual on-site, group, phone, and skills modelling, and specialized training.Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree (MSW) and 3-5 years experience. 2 years post-MSW practice experience. Current Maryland Social Work License (LMSW, LCSW, or LCSW-C).
Must be detail oriented and have excellent interpersonal, customer service, organization and planning, prioritization, problem solving, follow through, time management, and oral & written communication skills. Must be flexible and possess the ability to successfully handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and work well under pressure, independently, and in a team-oriented environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.
Knowledge of field supervision techniques and field placement expectations for MSW students, practice experience on the Lower Shore of Maryland and knowledge of area resources for the early childhood population, experience in providing services within a "host" setting and ability to verbalize the difficulties of working as a "guest" within an organization
This is a full-time, exempt, Contingent II (contractual), position with a limited benefits package including medical, prescription, dental, paid leave, tuition remission and more. Position is subject to grant funding availability. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
