The Department of Psychology at Salisbury University is accepting applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Psychology.
Area of Specialization: Developmental Psychology or Human Development, Preferred specialization in Cross-Cultural Development or Aging
Primary Job Duties: Teach a 3/3 load of 4-credit undergraduate courses, including courses in our Developmental area (e.g., Infancy and Childhood; Developmental Psychology (Lifespan); Psychology of Aging), core courses (General Psychology, Psychological Statistics, Research Methods) as needed, as well as courses in the area of expertise; be actively engaged in campus service; conduct a coherent program of research, and be able to utilize effective teaching strategies which enhance the success of a diverse student body.
Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D., Ed.D., or ABD., with a strong preference for Ph.D. If ABD, doctoral degree must be completed before date of hire.
