What you need to know

Please note: This is a part-time, temporary position with non-standard hours.

Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors degree
  • Experience working with students in an academic environment

Required Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills:
  • Must possess strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others

Other Requirements or Other Factors:
  • Willing to work non-standard hours

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Masters degree
  • Experience in the education system

  • Work with assigned student-athletes to develop a professional relationship to maximize their academic potential.
  • Provide general instruction in study skills, note-taking skills, test-taking skills.
  • Guide student-athletes in the development of time management and in developing organizational skills.
  • Develop strategies for the student-athletes individual learning style.
  • Create daily progress reports using on-line system.
  • Collaborate with Scholastic Supervisors as needed
