This is a part-time, temporary position with non-standard hours. COVID-19 information:
Texas A&M University monitors and updates our recruiting, hiring and onboarding processes to align with local, state and federally mandated health guidelines to keep employees, prospective employees, and visitors as safe as possible. Departments will provide the procedures to be followed at each step of the recruiting process. Required Education and Experience:
Required Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills:
- Bachelors degree
- Experience working with students in an academic environment
Other Requirements or Other Factors:
- Must possess strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Willing to work non-standard hours
- Masters degree
- Experience in the education system
Instructions to Applicants:
- Work with assigned student-athletes to develop a professional relationship to maximize their academic potential.
- Provide general instruction in study skills, note-taking skills, test-taking skills.
- Guide student-athletes in the development of time management and in developing organizational skills.
- Develop strategies for the student-athletes individual learning style.
- Create daily progress reports using on-line system.
- Collaborate with Scholastic Supervisors as needed
