What an awesome opportunity that's now been made available, to be a part of a ground breaking research serving as our postdoctoral research associate in the SIBOR lab! Specifically, this role is crucial for our study of experimental AMO physics. We envision this individual will hold a PhD in physics and have specialization in atomic and/or molecular spectroscopy and/or in the development of optoelectronic instrumentation for spectroscopic applications. Expertise in any of the following: Laser spectroscopy, high-resolution spectroscopy analysis, high voltage instrumentation, and/or high vacuum techniques will be valuable competencies in this position. - Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others
- PhD in physics or related field
- Experience in ultrahigh vacuum, high-voltage applications and mode-locked laser systems
Instructions to Applicants
- Expand the collinear fast beam spectroscopy for optical detection of ions and atoms; conduct attosecond research in intense laser fields and frequency comb spectroscopies; publish results in peer-reviewed journals
- Lead research assisted by graduate and undergraduate students
