The Department of Comprehensive Dentistry at The Texas A&M College of Dentistry invites applications for up to one full-time tenure track position with an 11-month academic appointment beginning spring semester 2021. Applicants will be considered for the tiles of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor depending on qualifications. Responsibilities include coordinating clinical activity, supervising patient care, participating in undergraduate didactic and clinical teaching, evaluation of dental students' professionalism, clinical progress, and performance, counseling students regularly as well as publishing in leading research journals and obtaining external research funding. Interested individuals should have a strong commitment to teaching, service and a demonstrated record of accomplishment in research and external grant funding. The opportunity for extramural private practice is available. All final candidates will be required to successfully pass a criminal background check prior to beginning employment.

Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the selected applicant.

Candidate must have a DDS, DMD or advanced degree from a U.S. or accredited dental school and be eligible for licensure in Texas. Candidate should be familiar with current dental technology.
