At Research and Development in the College of Education & Human Development, we assist in the development and submission of research proposals, coordinate award documentation and manage post-award financial activities. We provide workshops for faculty and graduate students on grant submission, grant-seeking, and create compelling, competitive proposals. And we serve as a liaison to schools and other stakeholders in your research programs. Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 4 Years Relevant Professional Work Experience
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Position will require extensive travel (occasionally overnight)
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Abilities to work with CDD staff and affiliated faculty in providing research and data analysis services to research and evaluation projects
Responsibilities:
  • Research Design and Data Coordination - Take the primary responsibilities of data coordination and analyses, and assist with the development of annual reports. Participate in national meetings and training calls provided by AUCD.
  • Lead Training and Technical Assistance Activities in statistical analysis and data collection - Serve as the lead in designing and implementing training and technical assistance activities, particularly in the area of research design, measurement, and data analysis.
  • Research - Design and implement research studies for the Work Based Learning project; seek internal and external funding opportunities; develop IRB protocols and submit for IRB approval; collect data; author or co-author papers for publication; identify and collaborate with potential partners in research.
  • Supervision - Supervise staff members and graduate research assistants; support staff through goal-setting; Support the teaching, training, and mentorship experiences of staff. Performs other duties as assigned by the CDD Director (attending AUCD meetings and other activities).
