Adjunct Instructor Multimedia and Digital Media Production

This position is a part-time non-tenure-track appointment as adjunct instructor in the Department of Communication and Media in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. The purpose of this position is to teach undergraduate coursesin digital media production with an emphasis on producing digital content for the web and mobile distribution. Courses will cover pre-production, shooting high quality video with both professional equipment and on smartphones, editing, and overall project management. This position will teach one to two classes in a semester as specified in the contract letter. This position requires a commitment to working with diverse student and community populations.

This position requires the holder to have a master's degree in a field relevant to the assigned courses, experience in multimedia/digital production, and evidence of effective college-level teaching in the area of the assigned courses. The holder of this position will be provided with campus e-mail, internet access while on campus, and access to a printer. The holder of this position will be expected to perform these duties in a professional manner and to abide by the Collected Rules and Regulations of the University of Missouri System. The holder of this position reports directly to the department chair.
